Wells Fargo's Florida president sells Aventura home for $2.7M

Shelly Freeman, Wells Fargo Bank regional president for Florida

Wells Fargo Bank Regional President of Florida Shelley Freeman and her partner sold their Aventura home for $2.7 million.

Wells Fargo, the largest bank by deposits in Florida (NYSE: WFC), brought Freeman from Los Angeles to Miami in 2009 to lead the entire state. The same year, Freeman and partner Joni Rim bought the 5,456-square-foot house, at 1504 Island Blvd., for $1.5 million. The four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home was built in 2005 and faces the Intracoastal Waterway.

In January, Freeman and Rim sold the home for $2.7 million to Hazel Guerriero. That allowed them to pay off a $950,000 mortgage from ? surprise ? Wells Fargo.
